It looks like you have got the letters “P” & “R” around the wrong way.
Stephen, it a little bit confusing but it is in this way
eng rus
Rr = Рр
Pp = Пп
I find your videos good and helpful. Some go to fast to be taken in. I like being able to absorb things as you go along.
When you mention a Russian word would you mind just quickly giving the English translation to help us build our vocabulary.
I hope you have the time to make more.
Stephen you have a rating system but I don’t see how to vote.
Neill, thanks for reply. I’m trying to give translation where the word is often used one and easy-translatable.
For example “люди” – “lyudi (ludi)” – “people”
But “подъезд” is rare word – but good example where “ъ” used. It means something like entrance , front door.. I think you don’t need to know it right now. “езд” – this is from word “ездить” or “езда” – it means something like riding or moving. So I think may be I will made few more lessons about reading rus. words and there translation.
Thanks for your lessons. They are great.
Could you show us the way to write Russian letters? Especially the letter “Д”.
Thanks.
Sunny, what do you mean? You need to know how to write special russian letter at the paper?
Yes, I hope you can show us how to write Russian letters on the paper. I think there are differences between the printed forms and the handwritten ones.

Щ more like SCH or even S
Is that in portuguese we have the same sound, but differently from you guys, it doesn’t make difference for us, so I guess it’s easier to understand for a portuguese speaker than for a english one. Thanks, your classes helps alot! (=
